The kit I got to work with is soooo awesome and totally my colors. I dove right in and came up with 3 seperate layouts, 2 cards and 1 altered project. I have posted 2 of the layout here. Join the message boards and check out all my projects. This was alot of fun and I must thank Gerrianne for giving me the opportunity!! Until next time..... scrap on

The Barn Girl's

We had a Barn Girl's reunion crop at Allison's on Friday night. Lisa, myself, Tanya & Allison. It was so much fun and great to get together like old times and crop, catch up on each others lives and of course eat!! I brought the oreo brownies and the ice tea lol! Amy, Shawn & Kelly - we missed you. Boy I so miss those days at the barn... just hanging out, scrapping and managing to get some work in too. It was such a special time yet hard to put into words... I guess you just had to live it and for those who did you know exactly what I mean!!

KNK Layout Challange

I have never done an online challange before, so I thought I would give it a shot. We had to use 5 different pp, at least 3 pictures (that is never a problem), 4 embellishments, 2 ribbons and 1 title. It was alot of fun and I did succeed in meeting all the requirements. Of course I did a 2 page layout since that is mainly what I scrap. Hope you like it!

Scrappin With Friends

I got to try out a new scrapbooking store in town last night!!! Strawberry Fields. It is an great store and a great place to crop. There are these oh so comfy chairs. I got to scrap with some wonderful friends from the barn all night. We had so much fun!! I surely want to go to another crop here (soon!!)

Animal Woes Part II

Our guinea pig, Precious, got her leg caught in the cage. At first is was just badly sprained with alot of swelling. She had her legged wrapped with a purple pokka dot cast. However, after a few days it was determined that it had broke and thus had to be amputated. I know what your thinking, $$$$, oh yes and you are correct. It was alot of $$$$, but she is so cute and sweet. She is now recovering in a smaller cage and she has been behaving very well regarding her stiches. Unlike a kitty we know. She is even taking her medicine like a champ. She went for a follow up today and she is healing really well. Her stiches should be fully gone in about another week or so. She is starting to really talk to us again, so we know she is feeling tons better! Yeah for Precious!!!

Take Me Out To The Ball Game.....

Spring Training is here and Fort Myers is home to the World Champion Boston Red Sox's. We went to see them play the cross town rivals (The Minnesota Twins) on Sunday. It was a beautiful day, sunny and not to hot with low humidity and a slight breeze. We had our picnic of Fried Chicken in the parking lot before the game. The band was playing when we got to the stadium. It was a good game, but we lost 8-2 (bummer). The girls got new ball caps!! What a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon!!

Animal Woes Part I

Poor Missy - She has been under the knife 3 times so far this year to have a bunch of little bumps removed. On this latest one they took off about 20. Instead of regular metal stiches they gave her the dissolveable kind. She hasn't been the best patient when it comes to leaving them alone. Her desire to scratch has gotten her into big trouble .... causing her stiches to break open, thus the need for a return visit to the vet. He gave us ointment to apply to her daily to help with the healing. We tried to wrap her head to stop her from scratching, but that didn't work! LOL!!! We return to the vet one last time on Thurs. for a check up!!! Of course as the stiches heal she wants us to scratch her head, which we can't.... poor Kitty Kitty

My Scrappin Partner

Me and Missy scrappin in the Mecca. This is her before surgery shot. Since then we have had some animal woes. I will post seperate pictures of Missy and our guinea pig Preciouse. They are both recovering from surgery at the moment.

The Shoes

I must say they are really cute. Acrylic heals and rhinestone butterflies!! The hose didn't make it through the night, but the shoes did!! Now they can't wait to wear them again!!

Father , Daughter Dinner

The much anticipated day arrived. There was a father/daughter dinner held at their school. The girls were so excited to spend a night out with thier Dad. Aren't the dresses so cute!!! It took several trips to the dept. store before they found what they wanted. They got to wear new heals plus real live hose. No more "tights" as they are now ALMOST 11. I must say Dad cleans up pretty good too! lol.... Mom got to enjoy her evening too, a few hours all alone in the scrap room. They had a great time at the dinner and even won a drawing (2 one hour wind surfing lessons!!!!). I see another adventure in our future.
